And the Winner Is........

Thanks to all who voted for my next drawing/s to head to the Mario Lemieux Foundation. I have decided to do a Double Play, similar to the Letang drawing I just finished for my wall. I have also decided that there will be 3 drawings done and sent:

1st Place - Letang
2nd Place - Fleury
3rd Place - Crosby

They will be done in that order and sent in one package. This is after I have done the 3 drawings for the Quest for the Crown Tourney. I'm going to be a busy girl!

Letang Double

From out of the sketch book and onto loose leaf, this one is to be framed and hung on my wall. Love how it turned out, much better than the original one I did. I will be doing a similar one for the MLF.

3 Drawings for - Quest for the Crown 4 Hockey Tournament

Justin Goldman of The Goalie Guild has announced the dates for the Quest for the Crown 4 Hockey Tournament. It's being held April 28 - May 1 2011 at The Edge, in Littleton, Denver Colorado. It will be raising money for the NHL's Hockey Fights Cancer Foundation.

I have been chatting with Justin for the past 6 months or so, and now that I am actually in Denver I will be able help out and of course draw for the silent auction. I'm aiming for 3 drawings, so we'll see how time goes. Those of you who are Avs fans and live in the Denver area, come down and check it out, it's all for a great cause.

Tanger

OK I'm Back!

WOW!!! Nothing like and international move to watch 4 months disappear into the sands of time! We made it to Denver, bought a house, and have our shipment from Australia. This also means my drawing supplies are here in my hot little hand and I can finally let the creativity monster loose again. Of course the first drawing I did in my new drawing room was of Letang. I had started it over the Christmas break but got sidetracked, finished it today and there will be a picture of it up shortly. Good to be back drawing, more to follow, stay tuned.
